How to use Manic Panic toner/mixer?
I got my hair almost as white (platinum) as I wanted it by bleaching, but now, about a month later, it’s turning yellow. (Despite the violet based shampoo I’m using.) Anyways, so I ordered a Manic Panic Virgin Snow White Toner/Mixer (Which was hell to get by the way, it’s sold out everywhere!) So my question is, I don’t have to bleach my hair again, do I? I dont see why I would have to, since technically my hair has no pigment in it now anyways, unless the toner only works right after bleaching? Also, do I mix the toner? What with? And what volume? Thank you ! (:
Also, on the instructions I did find it says apply 1/2 inch away from scalp. But I need my roots done too, they’re turning brown! Can I apply just the toner on them or do I have to re-bleach just the roots? Thanks again.
No you shouldn’t have to bleach the hair your using the toner on again because the purplish color should take out the yellow. Mix the toner with 20 volume developer to deposit the color. Also if your roots are brown than you have to bleach. Never bleach hair that has already been bleached to pale yellow so just bleach the roots. Then you can apply the toner on your roots too. Your hair should be white after using it.
