Networking Printer
How do I get a list of all users connected to a network printer?
We have a network printer in the office (HP Laserjet 4050), and several people use it who shouldn’t!
If i can get a list, can I block some users?
It is a networked printer, plugged directly into the network. No Axis server box involved and the printer is not directly connected to a PC.

Overview
The HP LaserJet 9000dn is a monochrome laser printer designed for general office and home office use. Heartier than many of its counterparts, this printer is able to handle large volumes of paper output and can organize multiple printing queues at once. This makes it an ideal choice for offices that don’t necessarily need all the latest features or color graphics; just a good, stand alone printer.
Features and Functionality
The main selling point of this printer is its ability to maneuver several print queues at one time. Printing at up to 50 pages per minute with a feeding tray of up to 3,100 pages at time, the HP 9000dn works well in offices that have several users connected to a shared printer. The resolution remains solid at 600 x 600 dpi, with high-quality and clarity in all of the printer output. Additional features include automatic two-sided printing and printer use with most paper types, including bonded and recycled paper, transparencies, label sheets, and card stock.
This HP printer model also offers advanced networking options, which allows users to connect numerous computers without slowing down the printing process. The printer is also able to connect to other printers in the HP 9000 series, making one printing station that can handle a number of different jobs.
Remote management options allow administration to monitor printer usage and supplies either on site or off site, with additional features in HP 9000dn toner alert that lets you know when it’s time to order more. The Black HP 9000dn cartridge offers crisp, clear results on every page, with a high-yield output that will last for up to 30,000 pages.
Why Choose the HP 9000dn LaserJet Printer?
If you need fast, quality printing, then the HP 9000dn is a good choice for your home or office. It is powerful and offers no delays for double-sided printing or multiple user queues. Durable and hardworking, this printer has the latest in remote and networking options without the hefty price tag.
