How to quickly fade unnatural hair dye?
About a week ago, I dyed my faded purple hair a magenta-ish color. Now, it’s faded to an orangey/pinkish/brownish mess.
Currently, I’m on spring break, so I wanted to see if I could get back to my natural blonde color [or as close as I can get] by the time school starts again.
What are some ways to quickly fade this dye?
Because I’ve used this dye before, I know that it’s going to leave my hair with an orange tint, and I’m planning on using a toner to counteract that. I just want the pink and brownish tones to fade out.
The dye is Manic Panic if that helps. I usually use Special Effects, but my faded purple was really bugging me and it was all I had on hand.
Rinse your hair with vinegar a few times in the shower- it usually fades the color significantly.
I hate Manic Panic just for their fading. The color is really vibrant and looks great… for about 2 days. hah
I swear by Beyond the Zone Color Jamz (Sally’s). They have the most shades of all colors, and the color lasts a loong time.
